Ed's eyes, now a bit larger than golf balls, bulged angrily as his words resonated off grimy tiles. The room was like a slightly cleaner version of a run-down gas station bathroom. Fluorescent lights flickered feebly over the cramped room's occupants, neither of which seemed very happy.
The escaped prisoner was still wearing his grey PRC uniform. His clothes were worse for wear, but they were still relatively intact. The guards had cleaned them every week or so while he was being allowed a shower. A few green and brown plates glinted from the oval-shaped scrapes in his arm. What was most evident, however, was that Ed was extremely angry.

The G.O.D. marched purposefully down the sterile white hall of the hospital after a tall figure in a grey pinstriped suit. Her pale red hair streaked out behind her like a flame in contrast to the subdued blue of her scrubs.
"I do NOT approve of this!" she snapped. "The girl has hairline fractures in two ribs, and while she is in my care Artemis, listen to me!"
Artemis continued to stride ahead of Persephone without skipping a beat, each movement swift and confident. "This conversation is pointless. He wants everyone who can be of service on the task-force. That includes the specimen in question, despite her injuries. End of discussion
