Description
This is a portion of a small "recycling project" of sort - I've dug out a lot of my older creations, both fumed and laughed at their embarrassingly low level... and then I've decided to do something about them, instead of throwing them away to the darkest corner.
As I've mentioned somewhere earlier, I do plan to redraw a few things, just to see where I've been and where I'm actually going.
Pointless? Maybe - but it's fun
The girl on the left comes from one of my oldest CG's from 2001 - scanned and re-drawn by mouse on my very first computer in Adobe Photodeluxe 3.0. That was genesis for me in a world of computer graphics :3
A very poor one, but still...
She was just a random girl - I could tell that she was some sort of my original character, but as such she's been very short-lived and quickly forgotten. Alethea was her name, as far as I remember.
The girl on the right is how she would probably look at Anno Domini 2009, if I actually continued to develop her and her story... I definitely went up a lot more 'couture' with clothing, haven't I?
Her dress started to look a bit too gothic-lolita'ish at some point, hence a quirky upper part.
As I've been re-drawing my little Althie, I've noticed that in the past I had a thing about purple/light-purple hair. I don't know why. In fact, I think I still have one XD;
But - to be honest - after so many years of watching manga&anime I got tired with rainbow-colored hair and now I opt for something more natural-looking.
Yep, no more flashy coiffures from Tee. At least not so often. And most likely NOT without a drawn character visiting a hair salon for hair coloring treatment.
On the other hand - who had EVER seen someone with hair colored to light purple???
...*grrrr* Even though some progress is visible and though I haven't spend much time on this one, I still think that after so many years I could do a lot better...
Oh well - I simply gotta practice more
Expect more arts of this kind from me, after I deal with some other stuff I have to do.
